[Name]: Brook
[Canon]: One Piece
[Canon Point]: Right after being vanished by Bartholomew Kuma
[Age]: 88
[Gender]: Male

[History]: Sit back and let me sing you a song~♪

[Personality]: Despite being a walking skeleton, Brook is what most people would describe as a gentleman; always referring to people as "Sir" or "Ma'am" and generally remaining polite and courteous to those he meets, even in the heat of battle. However, he most definitely has a flair for the eccentric and carries as many bad habits with him as he does good; often going as far as to openly ask if he can view a woman's panties or asking random strangers to lend him money. Further emphasizing his quirky nature, Brook has a tendency to lean towards the more extreme ends of emotions; such as laughing hard at simple jokes, or becoming complacent when told to calm down.

Brook is also known for his unique sense of humor, often making jokes inappropriate for the situation or just simply cracking a "Skull Joke" at his own expense; all of which are punctuated by his trademark "Yohohoho" laughter. However, he is capable of being serious when the time calls for it; such as when the other Strawhats found themselves hopelessly outmatched by Bartholomew Kuma and despite calling the fight a hopeless cause, selflessly fought with him in order to protect Usopp from being harmed.

Having been dead for over 88 years, Brook puts great emphasis on enjoying the little things in life, such as a kind gesture or the company of others; as well as keeping promises that he makes, both things being something he will go to great lengths in order to maintain as shown in his dedication to the goal of reuniting with his friend Laboon, a promise he hasn't forgotten even now.

A great love of Brook's is Music, something he has been interested in the days he was alive; and has been one of the greatest motivators to keep him going through the years he was stuck adrift his destoryed ship. No matter what his mood is. be he sad, angry, or even scared out of lack of a mind; music is the force that can pull him through as shown during his stint in Thriller Bark when even though he was deathly afraid of the denizens of the island, he was able to combat them by simply humming a tune to himself as he'd convinced himself that if he kept singing, he wouldn't be afraid.

However, if there was one thing that were to actually get on Brook's lack of nerves; it would simply be the act of wasting lives. Having actually died, Brook is easily enraged by seeing people throw their lives away; exclaiming that it is an act that reeks of shame and that "Death is not an apology."

Overall, Brook is a highly over the top personality who simply wishes to live his second life to the fullest with a smile wide on his lack of a face. Even though he may be cowardly or downright rude at times; he is a stalwart and trustworthy friend who would do anything to help someone he cares about and if he makes a promise to you, you can rest assured that he will move heaven and earth to see it fulfilled.

[Abilities / Strengths & Weaknesses]: Brook's strengths mostly tend to stem from his paranormal state of being; such as the fact that he is technically immortal, but only in the sense that if he is left alone he will continue to live, though he can be killed if his bones are smashed to pieces. He is also light as a feather due to his lack of any tangible muscle mass, allowing him to jump extremely high, run inhumanly fast, and even run along the top of water. However not all of his skills come from being undead; his swordsmanship was something he cultivated since his time as a normal human and even then he was formidable enough to be placed as the head of a battle convoy for his former kingdom, though his light frame and speed make his already formidable style even more dangerous as he is able to strike so swiftly that an opponent will not notice the cut until he has sheathed his sword.

His weaknesses are; at least in comparison to his crew, a little more down to earth. Despite being a skeleton, Brook fears the supernatural to a phobic degree and will go into a panic at the mere mention of a ghost. As well, his comedic nature also tends to hamper his overall effectiveness; such as his tendency to goof around even in the middle of a fight or losing his focus in the middle of doing something important. As well, since he is in fact someone who consumed a Devil Fruit; he is subject to the weakening of his power when in direct contact with the sea, as well as being completely unable to swim.

[Limited Powers]: Brook as he is now is a fairly down to earth character that doesn't reqlly require any limitation. For example, even though he is technically able to run across the water or leap far distances, each ability is kept within reasonable parameters within the context of the story, IE he cannot run on the water forever and he can only jump so far and so high before he begins to fall once more.

[Other Important Facts]: Two other important facts to note about Brook are that any damage that is done to him can easily be repaired if he consumes milk, making him one of the quickest to heal among the Strawhat Crew. As well, his musical talent is so profound that he can even use it to change the moods of those around him or even the flow of a battle; though as of now this power is something he doesn't use all that often.

[Well...this was most certainly interesting to say the least of it. One minute he had been stepping in front of Usopp in order to protect him from what surely would be a mortal blow...watching with his lack of eyes as a giant paw of a hand came flying towards his head...and then nothingness. Well, nothingness until he had awoken here in the center of this town with nothing but the sight of a well constructed fountain and an oddly catchy poem ringing in his skull.

Brook took a few moments to adjust himself as rose from the ground as if being pulled by an invisible string; a quick turn of his tophat, a few seconds out to shine his shoes, and he felt right once more. Now he was ready to set out in search of his beloved crewmates...hopefully they were as unharmed as he himself was...well, as unharmed as a living skeleton could claim to be.

"Hmm...such unusual surroundings, I'm fairly sure this isn't anywhere in Sabaody. Just what happened after I was struck by that Kuma fellow I wonder? Ahhhhh, thinking about it is making my brain hurt...or it would if I had a brain left! Yohohohoho!!"

[At least his sense of humor was still very much intact, for better or for worse as he sat laughing to himself in the middle of the town square.]
